Banking and Matters.

OK guys here is where you will Talk to the bankers about what is going to be banked.
what has been banked.
Your current Investment in the bank, and Withdrawals from the bank.

There are a few problems with the banking system at present being that there arn't enough bankers to cope with current Possible capacity so i would like to see who would consider themselves part or possible part of the bank.

Updates will be Placed in the Edit section of this post and the next Reserve post.

Vault administration.

What will happen with the placement of banking (i.e - where will the banks be stationed)

Didn't we say that the bankers only will know where these planets will be so there will be minimal chances being found?

I thought they would be stationed in our alliance area (9:266 or the other one in 7 which i completely forgot about! ). They would also be protected much more in those areas.

This Will Only be known by the banker and senior members of the alliance.
unless ofcourse Your vigilant and happen to find one of the bankers outposts.

but Banking Processes are up to the bankers. and generally the Drop of, sending location of materials will be Done via the bankers home worlds.

which would then be Re-Routed to the bankers other planets for fleetsave/storage/redistribution

All banking is to be Posted in this forum, I Have created new topics called Deposits, and one Called Transactions under this Sub forum.

Each one should be self explanatory

make a Deposit, then if you have enough stored in the bank, make a withdrawal.

All Banking is to be done via the forum, and banking Issues to be stored in the Vault
(not the forums vault, but a database of transactions.)

At current there are no loans.

And to avoid the pushing rule, Trades between High ranked players and the bankers should be Dealt within 48 hours to avoid the pushing rule.

Eg 1mill metal sent to X and In return 250k Deut deposited into the bank for storage.

Or a Mail sent to the GO's of this Uni to clear the matter. if the simpler step cannot be cleared by both parties.

Responsibility For minerals Isn't the Bankers. but the bank will try to Restock the Bank In the event of a raid.

Hopefully if losses to occur the bank will have sufficient Resources to cover such losses in separate locations/fleets for the Next Couple of Transactions.

If not then Transactions will be delayed Until a restock can happen.

Donations may be made to the bank and can be recorded In the vault if the Member wishes they may also stay Anonymous.

Another thing guys, This is about People who would LIKE to MAYBE be bankers.

MSN would be huge as it would allow easy talk and transfer of Vault information.

So this is a recruitment page for people who would like to Maybe be bankers.

There is currently No payment for being a banker, appart from donations.

makes you feel like an American waitress doesn't it? living off tips?

LOL XD - you got that right!

Poor waitresses, they bear the brunt of alot of crude and quick jokes, but to be fair, i know of waitresses that are hot and in new-york making more then the people they serve. . . .

I got a few Planets Im sure I could use one of them as a bank also i been trying to build a fleet to smash for a moon (few hundred large cargos) which I could use for transportation.

If the members agree I dont mind doing it as I also have msn and all ally members would be free to have it (but when they add me they would have to say "im from Mercs!!" )

I think all Bankers should keep a Spreadsheet of how much was deposited/withdrawn/used/raided and Zephi should observe them all to make sure there is no foul play (or when he isnt around Jack Malthus)

So if you dont mind having me as banker I will do it

actually it was agreed that the bankers and jack malthus would be the only ones who knew the bank locations

thats good, at present the only way to know bank locations is to be a banker or to scan them down.

Well it indeed would be better if the leading players would know so they could check all matters fast and eficient but on the other side it's true. The more know the higher the risk. Either way it's a good idea I think.

at the moment it doesn't matter as nothing is in the banks repository.

But It would be good to have some Contributions to build the banks moving fleet defenses/storage.

and yes that's my point kalmagar keep The deposits as safe as possible.

So uh, sorry for not noticing but who is the bankers again, i been reading all the post relate to this and have not seen who got designated yet, sorry for being blind

I think we don't have any banker yet.

At current i'm the Bank manager.
And G2B is the only member offering his account as a manager of the bank.

Ubik said he would make a little program type thing to help us organize the bank.

at current the bank is unable to operate because of Not being set up yet.

The bankers need either To be Low ranked members or High ranked turtles.

With a rather UBER Defensive network on there planet.

Eg 200 GC's with about 800 IC's and all the bells and whistles.

Since there is almost nobody is offering, why don't we appointed them, like Zach said, how about we each gave out the highest defensive number that we have on 1 planet, dont tell the planet name or location, just the number of defenses whether turret or ships, then we appoint them. Just a thought, not a demand.

I would still say that we should wait for people to want to be appointed to the rank...but if no one does then I guess we will have to appoint them (with their consent of course).
